Yup, James Wan and Leigh Whannell .... They both wrote it, James Directed it and Leigh starred in it.
They couldn't get the movie made down under, so they pitched it to the studios overseas ... very unusual for that to happen.
Either way, the movie is pretty good considering the low budget ... at least its different.
