Guess you're right. But the point is moot.

The Italian NIC has imposed some restrictions on the names you can register. Your name must be between 3 and 63 characters excluding the extension. Your name can only contain the characters 0-9 a-z and the - character. Your name cannot start with - nor can it end with -.
