        No way I could live without a DW! Once, for 2 months I lived in a house in college that didn't have one. I bought paperplates and plastic glasses and utencils Even if something says it can't go into the DW, I put it there or I don't use it. I have my good china I got when I was married 22 years ago that's never been used just for that reason

                I have one but I dont use it for just hand wash my dishes right after I dirty them. Takes a few minutes each time... I guess also a clean freak so I like every to be clean including my dishes.

                                        Indoors toilet = sewage system into an island? I don't think so.
                                        Running water = Deep-ass drilled well into hard rock + electric system to pull the water, and a boiler to warm it.
                                        Internet = Phoneline + laptop.
