need to convert some avi's to dvd so I can watch them on a dvd player

u could even just burn it to cdr which any new dvd player will accept. Pretty easy job.

For simple, non-commercial DVDs try TMPGEnc's DVD Author app. Works great!

I use Pinacle 9 its easy to learn the basics... It has some nice Menu templates also so u can make your DVDs look pro q

If you have the new nero you can just drop AVI into in and it will convert straight to DVD for you.
