Post your .in names that you've sold here

    With respect to Taboo....

This is not for names YOU WANT TO SELL, but a thread to track .in names ONLY that have sold, along with selling prices.

Obviously, this will take some time to get rolling, but it should be interesting over the coming weeks to see what sells and for what.

I'll go first: I stayed up all night trying to convince my grandmother to buy masonjars.in.

She cracked open the piggy bank around dawn.

She gave me reg fee plus her social security coupons.

    Still!

Hehehehehe. I've seen a few "for sale" threads, but no completed transactions.

Hell, many of the good names are still pre-regs still in limbo. But good idea. And congrats on the nice sale to grandma. You should call Duke to add that one to this week's report.

Dude, read the thread: SOLD only.

It'll be lonely in here for a while, and then explosions will start happening. $25 turning into $25.05. Gonna be sweet.

Keep in mind that many people use "whois.TLD" (replace TLD with the domain extension in question )to find the Whois information for non-.com/.net domains. Especially for country code domains. Personally, I use Whois.us to find ownership information on .US domains - since I can't find this at whois.sc, my favorite whois site.

I now naturally enter whois + the country code when looking up country code domains.

                            Hmm thanks.

                            Domain name business is strange.

"the three domains sold this time for $204,000! That breaks down to $68,000 each for Downlaod.com, Donwload.com and Dawnload.com."

The SnapNames sales list was equally strong with Zydeco.com whistling up $5,600 and Cioccolato.com ("chocolate" in Italian) adding a sweet $5,548. PersonalPhotos.com snapped up $3,722, VideoGameForum.com contributed $3,598 and EasyFinance.com kicked in $3,020. They also sold a nice misspell -

                                  And then this:

AdditcingGames.com (494 with the extension in Overture) for $4,655.

Where the fuck do these people sell these domains???
                                  Im so fucking amazed...

Yeah, it's a crazy business, and just like in other fields, Traffic is King. That's why you see so many typos going for high prices and explains several of the "lesser TLD" sales.

Franck, if you haven't been following Taboo's main GFY Domain Sales thread now is a good time to start up. There have been so many big sales already this year. The 2005 domain market is en fuego.

                                      Com.net.in $100
                                      DVD.co.in $1,750
                                      Exercise.co.in $250
                                      Investor.co.in $250

The last three were reported in tonight's DNjournal report. The .co.in names are doing better in sales than the .in TLD. Shocking.

Both Sedo and Afternic list .IN names now. But most of these deals are going down via domain forums, emails, and phone calls.

I think you can push .in domains now, but not sell them till 2 months after the initial reg day.

I think you will see a load change hands then
