    How do I go about getting my girlfriend to see a doctor?...

    She's had this migrane headache since Saturday, and started puking her guts out yesterday and won't friggen see a doctor no matter how many times I tell her...

Doctors have never been able to do anything for them except give me pain medicine. HOWEVER, they never found a "reason" for mine. They checked my eyes, my spine, allergy test, cat scans etc.

                                                      But, there may be something that is causing hers, and if it is found they can treat it. Best to get it checked out.

                                                      I really hate pain pills, and when you have a migraine, and are throwing up, they really don't help. What I do now is take 3 Aleve, and I swear my migraine is gone within about 30 minutes! Aleve works better than any pain medicine I have ever used.

Trust me, I have awakened people at 3 in the morning to go get me some Aleve before, because Advil just doesn't do it!

                                                                              Tell her that you are only taking her because you care about her and could handle it if anything happened to her. Then chuck her in the car and she wont be able to resist. Ask her to do it just for you just so that you know there is nothing to worry about. That is what they use, I think it's pretty effective.

                                                                                      The same here, nothing helps against it then normal painkillers. But with some people it's something causing it. Better get her to a doctor. Tell her that if she doesn't go, she could end up having those every week. Maybe that helps

                                                                                                              I get them too, and they suck. Luckily, it only happens 2 or 3 times a year now but when I was in college I would get one every week, sometimes.

                                                                                                              They would make me sick too if I didn't lie down in a completely dark, really cold room. I also couldn't stand to smell anything- no one cooking, any kind of food, perfume, candles, etc.

                                                                                                              On the upside, more than likely it's not a migraine. She's probably just pregnant.

                                                                                                                                                      I used to get extremely bad migraines like that, they would last for three days and I threw up everytime. She needs to see a doctor, they couldn't find out what caused mine but they run in my family. It could be something she ate to trigger it, cheddar cheese, red wine....

                                                                                                                                                      I had to get a cat scan and go through all this stuff but it's not a big deal, migraines could be anything and most of the time nothing serious. But you need to get her checked out!

                                                                                                                                                      If she keeps getting them, she'll go to the doctor herself.
