I agree, I am not a fan of CNN myself. Give you an example. We bombed a place that was reported as a wedding....turns out that this happened at 3am Iraq time, we were fired at from the site and when our troops went there they found caches of weapons,etc. We need to fight back if we are fired upon. CNN reports that we are killing 40 innocent civilians. I am not a fan of either political party but shit, report the news, dont spin the fuck out of it. It goes the same for Fox and the other outlets.

The Palestinians claim it's their land, the Israelis claim they own it. It's a fucking never ending struggle. Neither own the land - they would be best served by spending some time with Native Americans and learning about what "land ownership" means. Noone ones land.

The colonists and Frontiersmen fucked up greatly when we "conquered" the west. The only logical course of action in the middle east as far as Israel and Palestine goes is diplomacy, and their concerted efforts to try and get along despite thier theological differences. No one is going to talk as long as everyone has a gun pointed at the head of the other.

The same goes for what is going on in Iraq right now. There's nothing that's going to be productive until all parties sit down without some form of decorum and put their petty bullshit aside and figure out how to work together instead of against each other. Civil war will be an understatement otherwise. Genocide will become the daily meal instead of some forgotten headline on CNN or FOX.

The whole region needs a wakeup call, or should just crumble into ruin. Either way, I don't care. Frankly if it all turned into a parking lot I wouldn't much care at this point. However, if any side wishes to put the daggers away and act like civilized human beings I'd be very open to discussion. But as long as they all wish to lash out at each other for STUPID reasons I'm pretty much stand offish. Fuck them, and let them die. That's really harsh, but what the fuck?! Only the truly ignorant refuse to use logic.

To dodge bias, I find it often helps to change the names of those involved to better understand the situation.

The Native Americans feel persecuted. They want the return of their holy land, now known as Wyoming. They make an appeal to the League of Arab Nations. The League of Arab Nations signs Wyoming over to the Native Americans and gives them full military support. The United States of America refuses to recognize the new Native American nation. Conflict ensues.

I come to a different conclusion. The only logical course of action is for them to fight until one side is completely wiped off the face of the planet hence ending the whole problem once and for all only to be, of course, replace by another one.
