Sigs is a way to gain exposure, referrals or cash straight up if you are selling yours...so why would you want to suggest others to turn it off and cut off that source of exposure, referrals or cash?

People know who they are, and it's not just people with ARS flying in their sig.
But I know from experience what some good sig views can pull.
Some of my biggest clients happened upon me by my sig to my portfolio.
On a good day when I had stealthisgallery.com flying in my sig I could generate well over 100 uniques by just posting a couple of threads on GFY.

but from some polls i remember 25-30% have them disabled, so assuming peopel know about this fact, they should not make "see sig" posts, sicne there is no chance someone with disabled sigs, will go to his profile, enable sigs and turn back to the thread to see what that guy has in his sig...
so simply by just replying "see sig" and not posting any url's, those ppl may be losing some businessI don't use ICQ anymore.Comment

30%? That's pretty steep. No worries here, I don't push anything in my sigSIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment
