it happened to me once... I went to a restaurant to get a carry out for all the girls at work and dropped my wallet in the parking lot leaving the place..... the guy seen my car drive away and followed me all the way to work.. like 2 miles away.... I was soooo happy that he did that... My credit card and cash were still there... he was very nice! I would definately do the same if I found a wallet.Comment

I was getting ready to leave the strip bar where I worked and dropped my little bag full of money ($1000) in this other chicks bag by accident (oopsie, one too mnay drinkiepoos) . When I got home and couldnt find my money I freaked out.
The next day I was crying at work when the girl who has the locker next to mine returns my bag back to me... I really could not believe it..all the money there. She said her boyfriend was trying to talk her into taking a vacation..lol. I tipped her $100 on stage that day for being honest

I've had my wallet lost twice. One time it was returned by someone who found it on the street in downtown LA. A poor person and they returned it with evey dollar still there.
I had my wallet left on the counter in CompUSA last year. When I returned to the store the clerk said oh yeh we found it outside in the parking lot but it looks like someone took your money.
The kid was a lying sack of shit and couldn't look me in the eye when he was telling me this crap. I knew I had left it on his checkout counter and it didn't have any dirt on it which it would have if it had fallen in the parking lot.

I went to the ATM one day and when I pulled up there was already 80 dollars in the machine and the car who was before me was already down the road and turning at the light. I just took it as my lucky day, I wasn't going to chase after this car. I tried to withdraw as well so it didn't look shady, I think the machine was malfunctioning because it never gave me my 20 and I assume the guy behind me got my 20. The person who found it came to my home the same day and return it with everything in it.
I had like $200 inside which I try to give to him but he refused, I offered him to then go together for dinner and he accepted.

I was out looking at real estate, snow everywhere. I'd bought this huge leather jacket with pockets everywhere and had took some money out for a deposit if I found the right place.
Got home after looking around - no wallet. I was fucked. Luckily I always carried my cards separately but I kissed my 2k goodbye.
A week later I got a call from my insurance company who had been contacted by the local police. A chinese man (who I'd seen looking at development earlier that day) found the wallet and handed it in.
