    It was about a Year ago, When I lost My original Nikon D100......

    It Happened During the last Mallorca show. Fell in the water with it. Totally fried as soon as it hit the water. Thanks to the generosity of Lensman, who out of the goodness of his heart gave me the exact same model I had. And thanks to all of you who keep on looking at the pics More of Mallorca Comin up, I promise not to too near the water this time

          I do know how to use it , and the camera was firmly attached to me , when I fell in the water........

                                      I had read to keep a bottle of rubbing alcohol in your bag , that if your gear falls in water. Immediately pour the whole bottle of rubbing alcohol on it , the alcohol will get most of the water out of it.

                                                  Tony the problem is when the camera hits the water all the electronics short circuit. NO Going Back. the only thing the Alcohol is going to do is to poison me after I called Nikon at the time and they told me its like throwing a plugged in tv into the bathtub
