The most important post in this thread is the one telling you to get the training. You've got the cart before the horse.

For the inexperienced rider, a Harley is probably the most deadly bike you can get on. 750 lbs don't like stopping or turning on a dime. 88CI of fuel injection can get away from you quickly.

Besides, you don't BUY a Harley. You BUY the lifestyle. The Motor Company throws in the bike for free. LOL

With sportbikes, it's "how fast you can get there." With Harleys, there is NO "there." There's only the "journey." And that never ends!
