    Fake Sarin Shell

    shell explodes in Iraq - or does it? While sources are reporting that a shell filled with sarin "misfired" earlier today, the chemistry of sarin gas leads to believe otherwise. According to agonist, sarin has an exceedingly short shelf life. To extend it, Iraq made binary bombs that contained only one component. The secondary component needed to be added at the last minute - by hand! In other words, the "botched" sarin shell likely contained only isopropynol - which we use in a mildly diluted form as rubbing alcohol

                                  Nice try. In the yahoo article you linked it says two soldiers suffered symptoms consistent with low level exposure to sarin. It also says because of how the shell was rigged the two components in the shell did not mix properly upon detonation. Nowhere in anything you posted did it say only one of the chemicals was present.

                                      You are also incorrect about how binary shells work. In binary shells there are two chambers each holding one of the two necessary ingredients for sarin. The two chemicals are mixed together either right before firing or while in flight.

                                                          The remaining "Bush supporters" are just the people who are too thick skulled to ever consider changing their minds or admitting when they're wrong. Plain and simple, real conservatives don't support this administration. The few remaining supporters can't name a single good thing Bush has done, only that we're wrong about absolutely everything. Of yeah, so are the facts. All these damn facts clearly have an agenda.

                                                          Good thing we only have a couple more months of this nonsense. I don't like Kerry but at least he's a reasonable person who won't try to govern based on ideology.

                                                              America pollutes Iraq with radioactive/chemical weapons daily, shells made with depleted uranium, but you justify it by questionable traces of expired sarin dating back to the Iran/Iraq war? (which we probably paid for)
