ARS allows it... if ARS is one of the "top banner sponsors" on GFY, then GFY allows it.
I see an ARS logo in the top banner every once in a while, i think that's for the epassporte ad though. Maybe someone from adult.com should clarify this for us...Comment

I've been hitting refresh for about 5 mins straight and i haven't seen it in the top banner.. but then again i was still getting more and more new ones, i just gave up. I'm sure i've seen it up there before.

Look for PHPSlaves response saying ARS allows what the board allows. Thats enough for me to use it. If Lensman has a problem with it then thats one thing, but ARS does have a button spot on GFY which is why Im assuming its ok until I hear otherwise.

Even if ARS allows it, GFY does not.
The rules are that you can only put a 468x60 banner in your sig if the program has a top rotating banner.
the rules on GFY state this:
"New as of 1/1/2003: if your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 468x60 instead of a 120x60."
the tiny little button Stroge posted is not a banner. it's a button.
if the search function was working correctly, i'd point you to multiple threads where not only have Lensman and Eric said full banners are unacceptable, but Marc De and Amber have said so as well.
PHPSlave is simply a programmer for ARS and I wouldn't take his word on company policy.
