I can't agree with 80% of those eliminations. Regular posters (the real ladies of GFY) have been eliminated but models who don't even know what the fuck GFY is, they're just sent here because their webmaster or agent told them to enter a contest (e.g. Bucci Twins), have been permitted to stay.

I was REALLY hoping that the first competition wouldn't be a photo and that they would wait until a few weeks in to do that, but I'm really glad Malezia won the last one because her pic was REALLY creative and she won based on creativity and not just for her amazing looks.
As I've said all along, I knew for certain I wouldn't win, but I did SO want to compete.

This is what I was thinking. I voted based on creativity. And if there were to be someone giving the finger and someone swallowing fire my vote would go to the fire swallower regardless who they were and if they were regulars or not. Personally I think that if the "ugliest" of us had entered Malezia's pic we would have won. Maybe I'm being overly idealistic though. It was the highest quality and most creative picture.
I know this sounds bitchy, but the fact that uncreative low quality pics got votes at all probably has more to do with politics of this board than the fact that those entrants were eliminated. Still, it does suck that people who are not content producers probably don't have high quality camera equipment so in that respect I guess it was kind of unfair. Then again, seems like a successful webmaster who really wants to win would invest a couple hundred bucks in a decent camera.Comment

and im more pissed that girls that took (and obviously took) less than 30 mins to do, got thru to week #2. and that girls that had great ideas got booted or got low votes and barely made the cut.

I hear you there -- it definitely takes a lot of practice to get good pics and is totally time consuming. And having to do everything yourself (edit: or rely on a clueless guy) is totally a disadvantage. I too had to ditch my original idea for something that wasn't very creative and don't really know that I "deserved" to not be eliminated. I sure as hell am not a regular like you are so yeah . . . Damn rain had to ruin what I was originally going to do for my task. Oh, I would have still done it. But I couldn't convince my "camera man" to stay out in the rain and climb over the fence to the Interstate with me. All he kept worrying about was his camera getting wet....
So I can empathize Hon.
It was fun while it lasted though.
