As for the highlighted section in italics - that would come down entirely to the sponsor & their tour... if they are changing that information, then you shouldn``t use them, and beyond that, i`d like to see a page that this happens, feel free to show me privately - 265103 @ icq.
As for the other sttatements & questions you made -
Most things online cannot be tracked by IP reliably because of services such as AOL. NATS does NOT track entirely by cookie - like some other programs.
However, NATS does track by cookie IN ADDITION TO link code. Every link in our tours carries the webmaster ID & other NATS specific variables. If a link does not carry that information, then it would fall back on cookie tracking.
So if you want to consider a sponsor for your promotions, do yourself a little homework, and browse the tour making sure that ALL links to additional pages as well as tthe join page, resemble your link code from the affiiliate center.
I can guarantee you that we track 100% through these link codes from referral code, to join page and any pages in between, if you find an error, let me know and it will be taken care of in a matter of minutes.
