First off I would like to say that it was really sweet to have found this site. I have spent the last 3 hours enjoying every last bit of this community. Awesome shit; I haven't really been this interested in a single forum in years. Thanks for that.
About me:
29/M and been programming since 11. Been doing graphics for about the same. I have owned 2 different biz's in the last 10 years primarily focusing on Networking and Development, with rather nice results.
As of now, I am back to working for someone other than myself, as I got into a bike wreck about a year ago and was offered a rather nice offer as an IT Director in Lake Havasu City, AZ for a major company and snagged it up. I miss the cash flow though, and have been piping ideas to startup again, keeping the Career hanging by a thread if nothing more than for the retirement cash.
I am very knowledgable with just about any programming language out there. I am also well-skilled with graphics. I have had 'Adult-Oriented' Clients in the past, although it primarily was on the eCommerce side of the house, but I have been rather interested in using my skillsets and affinity in this business.
So, yeah, I am a n00b in a sense that I really don't know much in the terms of TGPs. MPGs, etc. I am by far not a n00b when it comes to internet programming and graphics.
Questions:
I basically had a few questions to ask you all.... but since I typed out this shit, I will just ask a simple one....
> Are any of you willing to make a new friend and put up with my > n00b ass... as I get this ball rolling?
Basically, I am looking for someone who would be willing to lay down the skinny on this biz. As far as any of the cost and overhead goes, to be dumped into 'templates', hosting, and content goes... I will never have to worry about that.
I was really looking for someone to help me get the ball rolling by just being able to answer questions I may have. I can contribute to the relationship very nicely as well, be sure of that.
