Here is a tips for evryone.... copy ALLLLL your phone numbers in your phone to the SIM card .......

Shit man now i gotta reprogram the fucking phone , but still Cingular came through very good customer service

do you know if they have insurance on this phone yet? when i got mine, they said insurance wasn't an option yet and that i better hold onto this phone for dear life for if i lose it or it's stolen, i am shit out of luck.

Insurance is not available, but there is a 1 yr warranty from Motorola they honor. As long as there is no water damage or like you through the phone against the wall type damage they will send a new phone.

Juicy... bro, buy a freakin PC-sync cable!!!
Then when you "charge" your phone, it syncs with your outlook KEEPING backups of all your contacts on your PC!

PLUS, you can enter full profiles via your pc and then sync it to your phone. This way you don't have to punch any number into your phone again. Plus if you sync your phone and pc, you'll never worry about loosing a phone again.

RAZR's are horrible phones... don't expect them to stick around for a long time..

The new Black ones are in the Gift Baskets for the next oscars(or whatever is next)..

and the Candybar form factor one is up on engadget and mobileburn today..

You don't even need the sync cable, the Razr has bluetooth, you could sync using that. Not everyone wants a smart phone.... Honestly I wish my phone didn't take pictures ... seems more like a novelty... I like a few games and being able to download them online, as well as ringtones, but aren't we all online enough, do we need to get online with our phones too?

It's a HUGE ASS SMART PHONE!

I'm not knocking blackberrys. Their nice and functional, but get used to carrying around a freaking H U G E gadget with you 24/7. I've used blackberrys before, and even tried out the new ones too. The smart phones are WAY better in my opinion.

CONSIDERING he's coming from a RAZOR. My guess, is he wants something small, sleek, and reliable (with backup functions).

Yeah i dont like the smart phones they are too bulky and such. I dont like it when the phone has so much shit on it.

The pics are really great on it, not that I care that much, but I do use the bluetooth all the time.

BTW, that Motorola warranty? Did you have to keep the receipt for it or did Cingular print a paper? Like Cassie, I was told I was out of luck so I tossed the receipt...

the v3 comes with motofone and the sync cable. atleast my OEM Motorola v3 did. allows you to sync everything in under a min

I called Cingular and told em basically my phone is fucked up. They sent me to repaiir division. We did some shit on the phone and he said k we will send you replacement casue the phone has a 1 yr Manufacturer Warranty from Motorola they honor. Now if the phone has water damage or you banged it against a wall then your pretty much fucked and will need to get a new one.
