    Sorry for the business thread - need a little help.

    Sorry for the business thread. I promise I won't make a habit of it!

    I'm busy making some Full Page Ads and Half Page Ads for my sites, and don't have a clue what other webmasters consider as a full page/half page anymore since 800x600 and 1024x768 are pretty evenly split in the surfer's monitor settings.

    If I have a 590x400 ad is that what you'd expect as a full page ad or is it what you'd expect as a half page ad?

    What are your thoughts on the maximum size of a full page and half page ad?

      Until 800x600 is replaced as 'normal' resolution size I try to keep em that size or smaller. Sometimes scrolling vertically is ok, but not horizontally.
      SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

          Yeah I agree with you, I NEVER have anything scroll sideways at 800x600. Big No-No. So, you're saying that my 590x400 would be considered more of a FPA then a HPA to you then?

                      I know the site looks like shit, but I like Half page ads like this :
