For the most part terrorists exist because we are extremely rich and resouceful relative to other countries where 20,000+ people a day die of starvation.
It makes it easy for people to target rich countries who's main focus isn't helping the world; the idea of selflessness, opposite of selfishness.
If everyone in the world was trying to help everyone else in the world, then everyone would be taken care of, and if someone tried to terrorize anyone - then they'd have to answer to the world.
The concepts and ideology all exists already, though having everyone come together and be selfless is the difficult obstacles, and I can only be hopeful that that things will continue to slowly go that way.
