    It should cost $ to post on GFY

    That's the only way to make this board a serious webmaster board again.

      One off membership fee? Monthly? Per-post?

      I think a one-off membership fee would put off many of the people who arent involved in any aspect of the business. (a good thing). Although it is worth considering that GFY probably makes money on the ads, which are reliant on the traffic and activity...

                  yeah then you'd see this board turn from the advertising cash cow that it is, to a dozen or so people paying a monthly fee and absolutely 0 revenue dollars coming through the door

                          Some things won't work unless they are free... There is a reason why google, yahoo, and dozens of other sites are free...
