If I remember correctly you are also from the brotherhood of the e-10
The 20d blows it away in speed and the autofocus is amazing but the kit lens(18-55) is ok . The e-10 with all its slowness does have a amazing piece of glass. I will upgrading the lens on the 20d . Looking at the tamerons reading very good things about them. Also the 20d has a pc sync like the e-10 which is nice and rare. I use strobes so it makes a difference to me.
