I'm thinking more of the line of targeted internet marketing. Web banners and SEO using targeted keywords. I would probably run adwords at minimal cost and use the excess money for advertisments on sites geared towards my target market.
T.V. is a little to broad of a reach when you're targeting a niche market. Magazines work great but can get rather costly in order to hit your complete target market. A full page ad in Maxim costs around $175,000.

Depending on the industry, I have this PR guy that will guarantee a feature story in the WSJ, Time, Newsweek etc, and I would have a good chunk of $$$ left over.Comment

$10k/month is not enough to do things like TV and Magazines effectively.
You should stick to targeted internet methods.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.Comment

I agree, James. You could advertise in a local magazine with maybe a circulation of 35 to 45k but in national magazines...forget about it. Targeted internet marketing is the way to go when you're limiting your monthly budget to $10k.Originally posted by James White

Maxim was just an example.
