Which is the daft thing about it. It's not actually against their terms to do so but doesn't stop them closing accounts for no real justification. Amazes me that paypal get away with a lot of the crap they do (and they do pull some VERY dodgy shit) yet are still so big. Part of the problem I suppose is that for many there still isn;t a good alternative. Epassporte for example is very limited in many areas if you want to do stuff other than just move money around to other epassporte account holders.Ignorance is never bliss.

I dont understand people that let money sit in these things. In the old I had a boss that would call it slapping the check, as soon as the checks came in theey went to the bank. I keep getting mails from sponsors that switch from PayPal to Epassporte coz they got shut down... why isn't any sponsor using moneybookers yet? They have a pretty solid system in place.

I had my paypal frozen too, and it was because of one place that paid for posts. I never asked or signed up to be paid they just sent it on their own. They got shut down.. then I did..
I figure it was traced from them to me , because there were no other infringments on my part.
I used to allow other webmasters to use my paypal ccount for above said board - and my account never got closed.

the wire transfer takes about 24 hours to show up in your account so it isn't such a big deal IMO. It does make the system very solid but on the other hand I do like epassporte and their ATM system.Originally posted by Sony

they also shut our account down earlier this month. we only used it to pay webmasters and models. never accepted paypal for payments from customers. so its not really adult high risk transactions of any kind. they said they would send a check within 2 weeks. I sent them an email back but of course they didnt respond.
however we never kept money in the account. they account was just tied to the biz checking account to take out whatever money needed from there for the bi-weekly payrun.
all models and webmasters who used paypal will be auto-switched to check payment until we are setup with epassporte and moneybrokers and whatever else is out there to reliable pay affiliates/models.
