    Terry Wogan's finest hour Yes, I will be watching but of course I am doing it with an ironic eye

    Tips - If you have closed captioning (especially in the UK) watch the show with it on. Trust me, it adds a whole new dimension to the show.

    Right - I predict the UK will actually pick up a point this year.

              I have heard predictions of either Greece or the Ukraine winning it. Of those two - without hearing the songs - I am going for the Ukraine because it seems like they keep giving it to countries that will have to spend their entire annual tv budget on putting together the show.

                      I actually wish i did have captioning - it would be better than listenign to it

                      unfortunately for us our 1 year old just LOVES it
                      so we got stuck watching it

                      it says someting about a contests reputation when even the commentators are comedians who poke shit at every act in between songs.

                              the translations of some of the songs are just hilarious. Last year one of the songs was about pasta and potatoes but you wouldn't have known that without the captioning.

                              Terry Wogan makes it worth watching.

Wogan) last year sang english, so did Stefan Raab, the w-r-i-t-e-r of this year's entry, when he did that 70s glamour performance 2 or 3 years back.
