    Google Who? Yahoo Says Bring It On

    After watching online search engine leader Google Inc. dominate business headlines for weeks, Yahoo! Inc. used a series of executive presentations Thursday to remind analysts the company is an Internet powerhouse determined to grow even bigger.

          Sorry.. but Yahoo! was built on Google's technology.. They are fools with a lot of money. They can definitely top Google, as long as their search engines dish out SERPs that are RELEVANT to what the user is surfing for, not how much the advertiser is paying per click.. duh.

                  I now get 5 times the traffic from yahoo than I do Google, Yahoo not using Google results is the best thing thats happened in the last year for me


                  hosted flv's, hosted galleries, morphing rss feeds, free content, free sites, hosted blog

                      I have been getting more traffic from Yahoo as well since the switch. Someone out there has to be really hurting these days.. its gotta come from somewhere.

                      I still dont like Yahoo though.

                                          yahoo is more diversified than google. but google can take some steps to change that after the ipo.

                                          in 5 years time i would expect yahoo to be the more profitable company.

                                                  you don't think a big reason why your getting more traffic from yahoo then google is because yahoo was the one driving all the search results to google. if you really think about it yahoo was the one who really made google shine by sending so much traffic to them.
