A large precedent, whether you like it or not, was set by the United States that it will attack, even without large scale support. Why the defiance on the part of the other two countries cited as being in the line of fire?
1) They don't think we have the resources due to Iraq?
2) The fact that they really do have destructive weapons that, if the United States were to attack, would be used to kill millions (cross-regional)?
