OMG - This woman is waiting to tave a skull transplant. (pic)

Briana Lane shows where her staples were removed earlier in the day on Friday, May 7, 2004, in Midvale, Utah, following a car accident which resulted in part of her skull being temporarily removed. Lane was without half her skull for almost four months while paperwork passed hands between hospitals and insurance carriers to determine who would pay for the surgery to make her whole again. That's just sad.

unfortunately, i suspect many of the people in the so-called adult webmaster "industry" won't take the time to read this story.

            they should.

            1. according to the story the girl was driving drunk, not wearing a seatbelt, and lost control of her car.

            2. and, she DID NOT HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE.

i suspect many (most) of the young people reading this message are self-employed, and many of you do not have health insurance of any kind.

rather than pitying this poor woman who was ultimately put back together (at US taxpayer expense) go online and get some private health insurance quotes.

for a young person in reasonably good health insurance can be had for a modest amount. and, if you are in poor health, YOU CAN STILL GET PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE under a state sponsored plan.

and if you can't afford private health insurance, go get a real job, and get into the employer's group plan.

it is much more important than you think.
