fuckin done with the free ezine bullshit

converting all week at 1:50 then 1:110 when i woke up this morning.

wtf is this nonsense? i'm even using a good descriptive text link telling them that all they need to do is sign up with their email address.

stupid fucks wasted an al4a, richards realm, elephant list and lucky joint listing for me.

i could have made more money with a blind click program with a big bold text link saying 'click here if your mom is fat and ugly'.

why aren't you collecting your own emails??
stop thinking short term and taking $1-1.15 per email...collect your own list, then email your list....use software like www.ezineassistant.com

rememebr, if they are paying you $1 per email, an email is worth more than that ;)

plus you'll also get a glimpse of what really happens with email lists and understand the problems with people who are too stupid to include a working email adderss plus other crazy shit that happens...some don't suit there and respond to the second email right away (for the double opt-in)...

1. dont bitch about ratios until they hit the 1:1000 mark.
2. dont get emails for other sites, do it by yourself, its so much more profitable, even if they pay you $5 per email.. people who optin for porn are VERY likely candidates. especially a fresh address list like this.

FEB don't shave a single signup. Now if the sponsor is oversaturated in TGP traffic is another problem.

Everytime I read one of these threads I get worried and run to check my stats, only to see them exactly normal.

Stop sending blind linked tgp traffic and it may do better for you.

obviously you didn't read the whole post.
my text links are smaller than the text that explains that all they need is an email address to sign up.

those of you saying that i should be collecting my own email addresses, thats all in good time. right now im just seeing what works. and i learned that this obviously does not work.
this was only two of the galleries i submitted about a week ago.. not all of them. as i said, i'm testing out alot of sponsors right now.

consider this post an attempt to ward off anyone else trying it out the way i did.

1:30 with 404 traffic

Ratios with FEB have gone to shit for most people. Sure people on a msg board say they have 1:4 ratios but talk with people you can trust and they tell you their ratios are pretty bad. Not to mention the countless websites I've seen which had a ton of ads to FEB, now they have zero up.
I was promoting FEB and had 1:12 ratios at one point but the ratio kept getting worse & worse. At 1:86 average, I stopped.

I think some people honestly have great ratios but the vast majority are seeing only so-so results with FEB at this point.

It's not who you trust, but what's your traffic source. Same account converts 1:50 with movie/tgp traffic, 1:4 with SE traffic and 1:10 with typein traffic. I guess the AVS ratio should be also pretty good, the sure is that is far better than TGP.

For a moment in the past when my tgp ratio with FEB went to shit I thought they started shaving or something. On the other hand BossHawg is a very honest person so I removed this thought from my mind. I took off the tgp links and paid attention to other traffic sources. Guess what, the ratio went to gold again.

How are you supposed to convert good a program that every tgp has links for it and most of the webmasters promote it with the same stupid way? I believe you can still hit decent ratio with TGP traffic (since you can manage to get clicks) and make good $. Wannabeapornstar gave a good tip, if you use it properly you can turn the ratio back to normal. Speak to the TGP surfer.
