I have knowned Jman for a few years and I would have never guessed when we met we would be both living in the same city a few short years later. SO after a few plan hook up and trying to arrange our schedules we finally hooked up on the weekend.
I didn?t know what to expect a night of drinking? strippers? drugs? deep biz talk? This is the JMAN!!
Well he took me to the Chinese Market with girlie and what site it was.. Lights, yelling in many languages, trading and cool gifts and shops. I was loving it.
He then proceeded to grab some brandy and a coffee and says Derek were talking you to a Winter fest. It was a killer outside street show with dancers, singing, action and explosions all combined into a street show. I was like WHOA! It was the same people that did the opening ceremonies for the Olympics.
He took me over to Elvis Manson's after and I got a lesson in Tattoo's and it was time to head back to Jman's pad.
The stuff he showed me at his place was kick ass. The stuff Sleazydream Dad gave him was amazing straight out of a time warp!
We spent the rest of the night talking and getting to know each other better. Not the typical Jman you see at shows.
If you ever get a chance to hang out with Jman make sure you do it. Remember people are not what they appear at trade shows or on a message board.
