Just takes days to render and I sold my render machine .
Ill get another soon , the plan is for a good 3 - 4 minute animation , but Ill probally have it alittle more toony looking .

Yeah , its just the start of a good flash movie .
Should look pretty tight when I am finished .

It will be alot longer ..
it took a day just to render that .. I dont have much patience

Nice attention to detail on the gun.
the texture for the barrel doesn't do for me at all though.. Looks like you used the same texture on the computer as well.

But the textures are very nice. What texture did you use for the floor? Put a link up to it if you could.. Iwould love to have that in my collection

it played for me great and i'm pretty sure i have no divx codecs newer then 3.1 if i have any at all on this new machine, try it in a diff player. It is deff a great clip.

_Render it again at a smaller screen size and it will cut down on the file size AND speed up the render time_

Well 1 frame of this full size with raytracing etc on takes about 6 - 10 hours ( usually cause I am trying to use the PC at the same time ) and this animation has so far something like 110 frames .

so around 610 hours for that to have a little chrome and a cool target in the scope :P

Mind you , I am also new to 3d so I am probally using more polys then I need to and wasting resources .. but I will learn in time

Gee how in hell can it take you so damn long to render something like that without reflection ? It's all pixelated and the textures are not stable. Gotta learn how to use your textures!!!
