With "Homeland Security" and all, selling fake ID isn't worth the risk, so most folks who used to do it have left the business.

But the only people who need fake ID's are underaged, and I'm not so sure anyone here wants to help anyone who isn't of age fool folks who could lose their businesses by being tricked into using somone who they shouldn't.

Just go anyway. Try to persuade the person at the desk to see your way. If that means money, so be it. Before checking in, look over the room and find the most friendly desk person who seems to be in the best mood. Start talking to them, mention how excited you are about your little getaway and that you have never been there before. Make friends with this person real quick. If they still deny you, slip 'em some cash.

Try picking out a group of laid back kids who aren't walking down the block 90 mph like everybody else in NY. Offer them $100 bux after they guide you to a store that makes I.D.'s and make sure you tell them that you'll only pay them after you have the I.D. in your hand and you're satisfied with it.
