Nothing will ever beat one of his first NBA Playoff games as a commentator.
Pacers/Knicks, Knicks was a huge home favorite, and during the pre-game Walton said the Pacers had no chance to win, and gave his opinion of the only way they could even stay in the game.
Halftime score, Pacers up 15 or so and they did it completely 100% opposite of what Walton had said in pre game.
At halftime Walton BRAGS that they did exactly what he said they had to do to win.
3rd quarter starts and no Walton on commentary for the rest of the game. NBC had to "talk" to him about remembering what he says and sticking with it.
Classic!
