But then again, this is very dynamic, changes to fast... Its not like a news site that doesn't change each hour if you know what i mean.

a RSS 2.0/.9 feed for the thread titles would be useful, considering that you can filter contents in good aggregators these days... and get around all the stupid shit on this board. there is vB RSS feed plugins I believe.

The whole point of actually being present on the board is watching all the advertising. That's what keeps the board alive. With RSS, I think alot of advertisers will be cut short.

duh! you'd still need to visit the board to view the thread and reply to it. I am not saying to syndicate the whole thread, just the title and an excerpt from the actual post.

well RSS is just a teaser, it will also bring alot more users to the site, other lazy webmaster can use the feed on there own website

I'm aware of this, however, there will still be way less banner views as a result of it. Loads of people now refresh the threads page.

EXACTLY! There is plenty of adult webmaster resource sites that could use the feed and bring more traffic to the board. The admins should really consider this... go with the time.

I think you are wrong, RSS feeds always brings more people to the actually site... And it will be easier to find the real interesting threads.

on the other hands, there is many webmasters who just don't have the time to scan through pages of garbage every day. a feed would help them find the important stuff quickly and go to the board to converse, or network.

It will be easier to find interesting threads, yes.

It will bring more ppl to GFY, no. GFY already is the largest board in the industry and pretty much everybody who is a member of an adult webmaster board has heard, or is a member of GFY.

So what's the value for Lens and his team? None. Don't you think this issue has never crossed their minds.
