                                      here's the short version..
                                      we broke up 6 months ago, we made up (and had great sex, i must add) just before she moved to costa rica 3 months ago, then i get a 8 fucking page letter (A LETTER, not an email.) from her telling me all about how much she loves me.. i tell her right then that i pretty much don't care about that right now, but wouldn't mind getting back together with her when she gets back and we still have feelings for eachother.. i mean she's tens of thousands of miles away and the least i want is be tied up with her in some way or the other. being the gentleman i am, i don't want to hurt her and tell her i love her too but stay realistic and tell her that noone knows what'll happen.. i got an email from her 2 weeks ago and she tells me she loves me. great, i think. keeping her hot for when she gets back. then she fucking calls me up and tells me she's madly in love with that new guy.

The "what does he have that I dont have" type thing. But you can also see things about yourself that may help you down the road. What is he providing her with that you didn't because you couldn't or perhaps didn't want to. Were you to complacent etc. I think you get the point. It can help in future relationships.

                                                                                          By nature I am hard wired not to feel pain from social break ups like that. I rarely feel jealousy and when I do I channel it into something more productive. Most aren't like that and wouldn't understand.
