I was the night auditor at a sleazy 32 room motel on the border of Venice and Marina Del Rey.
Worked from 11pm - 7am and then went to Santa Monica College from 9am - 1pm. Did it for a couple years.
There are serveral books I can write from those experiences alone! CRAZY TIMES!!!!

My first business--charging fellow students to read US comic books my Mom sent me back in grade school here in the Philippines. American comic book heroes were really popular-- I must have made P50 a day (that's big money back in the 70's). When I moved to the US in 1979 my next business was selling candies from Fedco to fellow elementary school students. i used to be an usher at the college football stadium here. that sucked. I also worked at at captain d's.
