The only problem with that logic, and I can agree with what you are saying, as I never supported this war. Hower facts are facts we bombed the hell out of Iraq for the better or worse we are stuck there. It's our responsibility to fix things, otherwise Iraq will be worse than it ever was, as it will be totally lawless.

7,000 or so American soldiers died in Iwo Jima in a short time. Imagine if you were alive then.

There will be a new dictator sooner or later.... whether the US puts them in power or not is the question. The US doesnt have a very good track record of successfully installed dictatorships, so i'd hope an Iraqi cleric or someone like that gets power.
