Hahaha... I remember the same being said about Iraq.Originally posted by KRL
Quick, fast op, and totally unexpected. The Cuban people will be dancing in the streets and waving American flags to the site of US soldiers finally freeing them
That's gone over well so far.Comment

Do you have any idea what % of people do that? The fact the you believe it would be a fast, easy victory shows that you have no idea what Cuba is all about. It would be 10x harder to win than Iraq, and your incompetent government can't even pull that off. I go there twice a year, most Cubans worship Castro and Che Guevara. The literacy rate there is close to 100%, and no one starves. Don't believe the propaganda your government and a few refugees tell you about Cuba.Originally posted by KRL
Invading Cuba would guarantee the Cuban vote for Bush to carry Florida, which is a critical state and a lot of electoral votes.
Bullshit, the Cubans have no choice but to love Fidel. Why do you think they try to get the 90 miles to Miami in little boats.
They'd be waiving American flags just like the Iraqi's are.Comment

They've also found new offshore oil reserves within the past 6 months. Bush would love to get his hands on them but he doesn't have a chance in hell. Chickenhawks vs Castro, hmm tough call.
He defeated a dictator with 82 guys. 82. Bush has hundreds of thousands to take over Iraq and he needs John Kerry to come bail him out. I guess that's what you get when you put a cheerleader in charge of the world's largest army.Comment
