    putting videos and pics out there of human degregation is just a hot ball that gets played back and forth between both sides.

    The first one released is meant to incite anger in one side, then the other is released to cater to the angry side but only perpetuates more animosity from the the opposing side.

    It just goes back and forth until everyone is shocked and upset at both sides, even their own.

    Timing and placement of these images used as proaganda within the media are key elements.

    If we had seen pictures of Americans torturing Afghanis a month after 9/11, we would have thought it was great; especially after the images of 9/11 were still so fresh in our heads.

    If you see or hear of innocent Americans or others being tortured by Iraqis in the next week, then maybe you'll change your mind and perception of the events of the soldiers with the prisoners.
    This would be an ideal situation to have happen for Bush. His staff and media croonies know this as well.

    With the election not far off, and all the hot water Bush has fell into now, expect to see signs of this......

    I believe we need to have access to all avenues of information regarding this and everything else in our lives that can and will affect our lives.

    But we need to think more about the whole picture given the small pieces of the puzzle we can get before we act out in anger or immediate retaliation.

                                                I'm not looking for a "nucular" (ahem - nuclear) solution unless it's warranted. I just tried to put it in a perspective that I often find here among Americans. They hate the fact that US soldiers are dying daily, they are complaning about the money flowing there, instead of helping the local economy, and are yelling out for a quick and "clean" solution -- like in Japan 60 years ago. Well, these are different times, a nuclear (I know how to spell it, I was moking Bush and hence the quotes) attack won't happen, that should be clear. I understand the US' effort to rebuild Iraq, but as long as the Iraqi population is infested with mulitant extremists and splinter groups who hate American guts and like to slice heads off, there will be more dying. As simple as that.

But Iraq, my friend, is mildly different. Sure, there is splinter groups of Al-Q. and others that belong to the same terror network that allegedly planned and hahahahahahahad 9-11, but not all Iraqi people are contra-USA. You can't just fuckin nuke them, because the USA is incapable of saving their soldier's lives in a guerilla warfare scenario as it is in Iraq now. No wonder people have predicted Iraq to become the second "Nam". With every next lost life, it gets a step closer.


                                                                            Regarding your statement on the nukes... sure - they'd probably use it, BUT they don't have one, and I am sure the brilliant CIA leadership puts lots of money and efforts into making sure they don't have it. Which brings me back to the source of all this pointless evil: Where are the WMDs?

Let's take Falluja for example. When the troops are say 100 miles away with containment borders start dropping leaflets from C-130's all over Falluja that read this.

It is impossible because not only do you fight amongst yourselves, you fight us, and allow terrorist elements to operate from within your country.

In my humble opinion, the terror network, that's threatening the western, modern world, does span the entire fuckin' globe, and is not just resident in Iraq, Syria and Iran... do you think the recent attacks in Madrid were made by extremist Arabs who took a plane there? Of course not. Those tentacles of the big terror octopus are spread everywhere. Do we know who the supporters are? Hussein was allegedly one of the financial supporters of Al-Quaeda and the 9-11 attacks. Ever been proven? Don't think so.

                                                                                                                        And fighting the guerilla war on Iraqi turf, where those lunatic fuckers use their own people as human shields or hide in mosques... there is nothing you can do about it. Do you think they will follow international war conventions? They will wipe their tan asses with 'em. The USA however, being the most powerful nation in the world (although not the biggest economical power anymore, the EU is) must follow those rules to at least some extent.

This is a global problem that is going to take the support of a global community. We haven't seen the last of this bullshit. At some point regrettably we're all going to see a breaking point of epic proportions. This is the next "crusades". Religion and belief vs. Religion and belief. That's the only reason I referenced Japan. The US had thrown so much "blood, money, and fuel" into defending from Japan that there was one horrible alternative.
