Regarding Jacobs being junk, that is simply not true....

Patek Phillipe is nice!
Vacheron Constantine is NOT junk dude.... uhm they are like very well regarded.
IceTek is made by the makers of Patek Phillipe
and Franck Muller is nice too.... Actually, Franck pretty much set the path for todays current watch trends with his crazy fonts and faces and etc.... You can see it in Michele watches for women, same style.... Bvargi (i am messing up the spelling I am sure) always bites his style as do others.

Now, sorry though, I must say that although the brands you state are "Real ballers' watches.... I tend to disagree because they tend to be older mans watches...
I like Rolex, it has a classic style to it... Patek Philippe is nice and classy, when you are wearing a suit or someting perhaps, but I find it better suited for my dad.... not me. It all comes down to personal preference I think. And by using the word baller, I was referring to hip urbanites with cash to spend. Not Hugh Hefner or David Letterman. (examples)

En Vogue/etc.

I typed the above fast... dont take any of it offensively.... im tired and trying to get my .02cents in about my preferences, thats all. Everyone is different.
no prblem... i'm typing bad myseld.. 4am here, i'm sure i misspelled a few watches myself... i'm picky when it comes to watches, and i like the money spent to be on the movement and precision, not the diamonds and gold, that's pretty much why i never liked jacobs' line, he really doesn't focus on the things that i look forward in watches, just the flashy looks... but the size is the same with me.. they have to be on the larger size, rolex doesn't do it for me.. too small and feminine IMO, i need something at least 47mm- around that range.. it pretty much comes down to what suites you and your lifestyle i guess...(but you gotta look at the movement)
