I know the site. I used it a lot when I started optimizing my sites, but IMO you can get enough info on the free areas.
They are quite elitist as well. You can´t have a sig, post url's or specific queries to SE's and rules are very strict. Some posters think they are the wisdom in person.Comment

webmasterworld.com is the best resource for search engine optimisation info, all the SEO pros hang out there. A fellow from Google (GoogleGuy) posts there and his posts are followed by everyone in search engine optimisation.
The fee is only for the private area - there isn't even much there. All the good stuff is in the main area which is free to view and post on.Comment
