On an empty stomach. Sometimes I'll do non-fat yogurt blended with strawberries and run on that. But running on an empty stomach is great....your body looks for carbs and can't find them...so it goes after the fat....might take a little muscle too. If your looking to become Ronnie Coleman this isn't a good idea, but if your looking to get lean and stay lean its perfect
