My mom took me to a child psychologist once, it helped. I can't remember why though. I must have been nuts at a very young age.
We both came out laughing and concluded there was nothing wrong with me, but the psychologist was fucking nuts. So much useless stuff she made me do. I really looked at ink blots and shit...and I'm off.Comment

anxiety attacks don't have to have a psychological basis, it's more likely a biological problem, they've recently found a gene that looks like it is the cause of anxiety attacks for many people. But anxiety attacks can cause psychological problems - and no doubt stress from wherever it comes from contributes to anxiety attacks. So figuring that out with a shrink can't hurt but there are people with panic attacks who have no real issues - other than the panic attacks.
shrink won't care if you yell at him. they don't say much of anything - they want you to do the talking, yelling, crying - they just lead you subtlely to dicussing things in your past and present.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. Mark my words.. if it's an nyc shrink you will sit in his office, he will ask you a few questions, hahahahaha you a prescription for zoloft or paxil and clonazepam. I will guess about 50mg's of zoloft to start or 10 mg of paxi and 1mg of clonazepam before bed. This will take about 30 minutes of silly questions and he will charge you about 175 dollars.
