Linux vs Windo.ws what do you use ?

    Hi friends,
Tell me what OS do you use ? Windo.ws or Linux.
If you use windo.ws.... tell me why are you paying money for it when you know it is not safe and reduces to half the processing power of your machine ?
If you use Linux .. tell me how long did it took you to learn how to use it, and if you have problems while using it.

I used Linux until a little over a year ago but switched because hahahahahahas has so much software available for it.

Linux is easy to learn especially if you like command-prompt.

Try to find a good video game for Linux though.

Overall, I am a lot happier with hahahahahahas but damn, hahahahahahas is a battlefield.

Well .. I heard that there is a little software called WINE that allows you to run hahahahahahas software under linux .. so .. you can run hahahahahahas games.
I also heard that quake runned from WINE on linux works 25% faster than runed on same machine in hahahahahahas ....interesting I guess

i've paid more money for linux in my life than hahahahahahas. which was paying $10 for a copy of mandrake 5.1 a few years ago from a guy on the street. as for security, no OS is more secure than another, you still have to secure the box yourself. as for the OS i use, hahahahahahas as a desktop, solaris on the servers.

                            Using Suse 9.0 Pro
Took a couple of weeks to get used to it and find Linux replacements/equivilents to the software I was running on Windoze.
Suse is stable, fast, and I don't miss the constant patching to prevent worms and viruses. on the Windoze machines.
I'm not a big gamer, but I do like to play BZFlag.
Wine does work well for most of the Win Apps if you still need to run some.
Overall - It's been a painless switch, and I don't intend to switch back to MS.
BTW there is not a Linux replacement for PhotoShop, TheGimp is a nice image editor but it's not as powerful as PhotoShop yet.
