So I took a good stab at SEO

and landed a bunch of page one spots in for my specific keywords .
I at first was really happy to see this until it dawned on me that now I gotta keep it there !

Anyone got good tips on SE position MAINENTANCE ?
I don't wanna fuck up and loose a good spot , but I don't wanna leave my site alone to long and loose my spot either ..

    Anyone got any tips ?
Its not really a site to be updated all the time , so if I just leave it will it be okay for a good amount of time ?

great question ... I'd say as long as you maintain your incoming text links and possibly add some new fresh ones occasionally .. hmm

I don't know , I'm an SEO newb myself lol .. but I'd love to hear some of the BIG guys (eh hem, WG) give their input.

I've taken a few shots at SEO stuff , but this is the first time I have like 4 or 5 #1 spots so wanna see if I can keep it there

Quality text content on clearly themed pages (non-duplicate content - don't use the exact same text provided in your affiliate tool kit), easy on the keyword 'stuffing', use filenames which reinforce your keyphrase, name and alt-tag your photos to reinforce your keyphrase, easy on the meta tags, no auto refreshes, not too many outbound links, lots of good quality inbound links...

and most of all, I repeat, do NOT REPEAT text!

These are all steps in the right direction.

Back in the day when I was doing this, word was if you got top placement, don't fuck with the pages. I once got #3 google for PORNO with my site pornopad.com then I went and changed shit around and lost that in a few months. The fact that every dick copied my pages didn't help much of course..
