    progressive scan video?

On, say... the vx2100 - shooting in progressive scan - how is the video quality? Any problems with panning, closeups, high motion, etc?

Considering this as progressive is a great mode to get screencaps from.

Good for higher quality grabs but you can't shoot video at only 15fps. You could but it looks fucked up.

There is a reason film is shot at 24 fps. Long ago when the 24p standard was establised they went with 24p instead of 23p due to the fact that 24p is the least amount of fps before you see serious motion problems. Even in 24p you have to be careful about how you move your camera if you want the action to be smooth.
