I mean thats all great and everything but you would think sponsors want some intelligent webmasters too. What good is a million views from sig whores that make no money besides sellin their sig for 200 bucks a month?

There is no value! And companies are noticing this fast. Branding can only go so far. I won't promote a program just because 200 retarded sig whores are prancing around gfy. Not many others do either.

There is no RESPECT there.
Branding is a hilarious word around here. I mean anyone who is anyone and can send joins KNOWS what programs are out there. Unless your absolutely a new program...maybe.

If that's the case, then why do companies such as Coca Cola feel the need to advertise? Everyone has heard of Coca Cola. One of the purposes of brand building advertising is to REMIND. Sure, everyone's heard of Topbucks TCG etc, but they're definetly not thinking about them 24/7.

True enough. I think the main reason they do this is because Pepsi is avertising too. To maintain a certain level of brand recognition you have to advertise.

no matter what, sig whores will always have the best affiliate programs in there sig. you're right, long term it's about sign-ups and staying power. the ones who have money to advertise will win at the end....

yup, or else people will keep moving on to each new flavor of the week. I doubt the ARS sig impression program will be around much longer. In fact, im surprised it even lasted this long... I don't hear many good things about ARS4Real these days, even though it seems alot of us are "promoting" them.
I haven't got an ARS signup since they changed it all... i actually have no idea what they're even doing with the traffic i was sending them.

they are saving it for a rainy day. if ARS was to go bust, who would step into their shoes as the next sig whore dynasty?
