Nah, he got screwed. He did jail time for the crime he was accused of, he still says he was innocent of that crime. But because he did like 5 years and 3 days in prison (numbers might not be exact), the new terror laws state that anyone that was in prison for over 5 years and not born in the US, they were to be deported or in a holding cell until they knew what to do with them.
He didn't break parole, the laws changed and because he did 3 days past the new law of former jail time, he was held for several months in jail not knowing where the hell they'd send him. He was born in Jamaica or England and didn't live in either place since he was a kid.
He hit me up through my agent to see if I could help get people to go online to fill out a petition to free Slick Rick. I sent a bunch of people there and was flattered he sought me out to help him.
