    Had a great time at Chucky Cheese tonight

    until the paramedics showed up to sow up the fuckin gash on my sons head when he smashed it off the step on the slide. Had to call 911 since he was split wide open and blood was running all over him, my wife was freaking right out and so were the ladies sitting around us.

    Were obviously home now and he's in bed sleeping.

    I need a beer!

                  Damn why is everyone so lawsuit happy? Shit happens, I must have cracked my head open a dozen times as a kid. I am sure nearly every time I did it, it was my own damn fault too.

                  Hope your kid feels better. I know head wounds bleed a whole lot.

                                      Too bad they don't serve beer, or I'd say it was the perfect place for any occasion.

                                                                              Tell you what, I have done the same, bashed my head open on sidewalks, and one really dumb doctor that I could have sued to high heaven but didn't for the good karma.

                                                                              Lately, I really don't give a crap, screw the good karma points, they haven't helped at all, I know damn well if I did the injurying, I would have a lawsuit slapped faster than it would take for the blood to dry.

                                                                              Its a giant kids playroom with food, they should have steps that are slip-proof, and not sharp enough to split open a little person's head open.

                                                                              Don't go gonzo, I'd get enough that covers all the medical and something cool enough that Lil Pete totally forgets about the accident with the step.

                                                                              College fund money or a new Corvette when he's 21.

                                                                                          I think we seem to forget that we all pay dearly for being a lawsuit nation. People seem to play it like its the personal injury lottery. Problem is nobody seems to keep in mind that this "free money" comes with a hefty price tag that we all pay. The more lawsuits there are the higher our insurance rates go.

                                                                                          Of course lawyers love the attitude.

                                                                                                  I live in Canada and its not that easy to win a law suit. My son got a Chuck E Cheese doll and a T-shirt for the trouble, I think I'll leave it at that.
