Anyone have family/friend that is BIPOLAR ?

My sister is bipolar. Shes a mess, got the shakes like a 90 year old woman in need of a fix. Her meds are helping her a lot I hear. Sleeps a lot also.

A friend of mine (former friend now) has it. One month he's kind of slow, like lethargic and more chill, slugish speach and other times he's talking like he's the buddah or jesus christ. During a manic episode he would either be very silly or ready to fight. It's sad but they are litterally nuts. Bi Polar people cause alot of shit: innappropiate outburts to extremly risky behavior such as spending their life savings in a day. I often feel people out when i hire them for a job. If I sense even an inkling they are bi polar I run for the hills. I avoid them like unprotected sex in hatai.

Basically, it is a disease that makes you 100% abssolutley crazy like the people in the east village wearing tin foil hats, except they usually come down to earth for a month or two. Then they are in their depressive state until triggered by what is theroized to be a surge in noepinephine in the brain. None the less they are people and should be cared for like anyone else.. But in my opinion they are too unstable to do any kind of business, or have any kind of serious relationship with.

so what if you're bipolar are able to manage it without pills, make decent money and work hard. You control your emotions and are very observant of them, would that make the person bipolar still or a bipolar who knows how to keep it under control?

Yes I do. He is a close friend and it is hard seeing him go through this. His wife took off with his two sons and he was too incapacitated to do anything about it.
