What has that got to do with anything?
Those pics were just on the news here, and they said that according to red cross the humiliation and 'torture' were so common that someone higher on the chain of command must have known about it. Rumsfeld also said he'd take responsibility for it, and apologized. But refuses to step down... ok, what does taking responsibility mean then? Saying he's sorry?

Stop listening to Rush - this is about rape and murder.
We?re talking about rape and murder here, we?re not just talking abut giving people a humiliating experience, we?re talking about rape and murder and some very serious charges.
I would like to know if she (And the others who were caught doing this shit) was like this before she was sent to Iraq, or if murdering Iraqi's has caused her to go a little bit loopy. I know if I were a soldier and I was sent off to kill people, doing so would probably fuck my head up. It takes a certain kind of person to be a killer and be able to deal with it, and by the looks of things, these people don't have what it takes. Maybe they should have seen the army shrink when they started to think that violating prisoners was a good idea, although I'm sure at the time it was a lot of fun.

Yeah, a bunch of guerilla fighters who don't have to give a damn about laws and rules managed to treat there prisoner better.
LANDSTUHL, Germany - Former American hostage Thomas Hamill, who was shot when he was abducted in Iraq, was treated for the wound and regularly received food during his three weeks in captivity, a U.S. military doctor said Tuesday.
Do you seriously think these soldiers just decided to abuse thier prisoners? And to top it all off take videos and pictures. Bullshit I smell. They were ordered by Higher ranked Military interrogation officers to create favorable conditions so that the Iraqi prisioners would give up information. This abuse was going on from Oct 2003 - Dec 2003. Nobody knew about it right? Hell, a guy with 4 stars on his shoulders is notified when somebody loses a rifle out there. I find it sad that these people are going to take the fall for this shit while the superior officers giving the fucking orders get a slap on the wrist.

There are dead US soldiers shown everyday on arab TV
Taking and executing hostages
What about the execution and decapitation of Daniel Pearl that was aired on arab TV?
Did anybody see any evidence of torture in those pictures? I sure didn't. They were humiliated yes -- big fucking deal. Get over it people.

Taking pics and videos of pow's has been happening in military forces of every country since camera's were invented.
I've seen civil war pics where the yankee's had dead southern forces laid out like trophy's.
Happened a lot in Vietnam too. Raping the asian girls happened all the time also.
Got to remember though these are the minority Sunnis who were Saddam's loyalists, so the majority of the population which are Shiites and Kurds are loving this stuff because these are the ones who suppressed them for 30 years. So to them its payback time. I think this is why you aren't seeing a big uproar in Iraq over this stuff.

Shut the fuck up with that bullshit. We are the invaders, understand? If the US was invaded by the Chinese we would be doing the same shit.

Get over it? Would you "get over it" if someone raped and murdered your children?
"The worst is yet to come," said Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C, who warned that the new images include the first known videos.
NBC News reported the new photos show U.S. soldiers severely beating one Iraqi almost to death, the rape of young boys by Iraqi prison guards, a U.S. soldier apparently raping an Iraqi woman and the inappropriate handling of a dead body.
I rebooted, deleted temp files, history, cookies and everything...still cannot view the news clip. All I see is that fucking gay ass music video from "Rick Roll". Anyone else have a different link to the news clip?
The one thing that really gets me is how UBL and the rest of the world that already hates our guts is going to play this out in their propaganda videos and recordings.
What better way to convince some confused muslim that the Americans want to see them killed than showing a female U.S. soldier dragging a naked prisoner like a dog.
I really belive going into Iraq created thousands of new martyrs for Islam, and all the guys sitting on the fence about America not being all that bad, after viewing theses images from the Iraqi prisons are now convinced of this that the U.S. wants to see them dead, and are likely taking the training now to blow up city buses or explode dirty bombs in Disneyland as we speak.

In Fort Ashby, in the isolated Appalachian mountains 260km west of Washington, the poor, barely-educated and almost all-white population talk openly about an active Ku Klux Klan presence.
